iNTROSPECTIVE…

There was a time (around 2 years back), I was on an Airtel connection and used to have free access to internet. I used to be glued to the net and was an active member on numerous forums. I had read a lot “about” blogs then, and had read thru some, but didn’t find anything interesting. Maybe it was because I never came across any useful blogs. It was mainly all ads, or some stupid time pass blog that some useless character had created just coz he/she had no work. I was not a blogger then. Then there was a phase where I lost total contact with the net coz I switched my service provider. Now I have the BSNL Broadband connection and I didn’t know what to do as I had lost interest in forums.

I have to thank a very close friend of mine for introducing me to blogging in this sense. It was easier to reflect on a lot of things while reading her blog, so I just thought why not give it a try… And it does help!

People who have read my post know, I am a big time movie maniac. I like collecting and preserving all good movies. So, most of the times, the entire 160GB of my hard drive is occupied. This slows down my system considerably, due to the fragmentation of the files. The only option I have is to borrow my friends portable hard drive, transfer some data onto it for the time being, defragment my disc, and then load the data back in. this help my system to organize the data and find it quickly.

My internal system is somewhat similar to this. The blog is like the portable drive. Whenever my head is cluttered up with thoughts, it helps to pour it out and just ram it onto the net… Just expecting someone to understand what I’m trying to say, coz around me, no one does. It helps to create some empty space in my head to reflect on what is going on… And how to deal with it. It is easier to think about stuff when it is placed in front of me in an organized manner. I don’t expect anyone to come and read my blog… But yes, it is a nice feeling to know that there are people sharing similar thoughts!!!
